Both CD's installed without any trouble, recognizing my Acer CDRW right away, and after reading the first part of the manual, I first tried Creating a Data CD because data backup is very important to me. I found Single Session back-ups or Multi-Session back-ups were equally easy and reliable.
Next, I tried CD Disc Copy, which I like to use especially when the program calls for inserting certain discs while using the program. To copy one data disc to another, I preferred to make a temporary image on my hard drive first and record the new disc from there. It took about 25 or 30 minutes on my machine and was the most reliable and the least frustrating, although Click 'N Burn offers direct CD to CD and Global Images. I tried both of these, also, but I had a bit of trouble with both of these methods. With a little more time, I feel certain I can become proficient with them.
Since we use Music CD's in our car and do not have shelter from the sun, I was delighted to be able to make back up copies for use in the car while leaving the originals at home. I first tried building a Global Image, but the CD had been in the car at one time and, if I read the error message right, my image did not work. Copying in Single Session each track, in other words, all the tracks at once in a single session, I got a successful burn or copy.
Now I used the CD Stomper software and labels without any trouble and put a lovely label on my new Music CD printed from my computer and my printer. There are quite a few ways to decorate the label with clipart, different fonts, colors, etc. I am so happy I was allowed to review this software.
