Sure Thing CD Labeler installed from the CD very flawlessly and quickly. I had the program up and running immediately. The manual that comes with the software is one of the better ones I have used. It is written in the human language, not engineering or software designer language as most manuals are. I simply followed the instructions and was able to label my CD without any problem. The package also included several sheets of labels for the CD, but did not contain labels for jewel cases. These can be purchase separately at any office supply store such as Office Depot.

The program has various backgrounds that can be put on the labels or they can be left white. If you do not wish a design, they can also have just a plain background color. The also have various clip art that can be added to your label. The text size, style, color can be all changed to suit your needs. With this program you can be as creative as you wish. You can scan images for your labels if all of the above does not meet with your wants. If you use this program for your business, you can use your company logo on the labels. This is done by double click them and selecting your own file. By using the tools menu and selecting picture tool and importing the art from your own files. If you do not like any of the backgrounds supplied, you can import your own, but they have to be edited to be the correct size in an image editor such as Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

Complete all the work and editing on your label, preview it, set up your printer properly (either for black and white or color printing) fill in the print for the jewel case spine, hit print and you have a perfect label printed for you.

Once the label is printed the next task is to affix it to the CD. This work is made very easy. The kit from Microvision comes with a plastic device that you put you CD on. You then peel off the label you just printed, place in the lid of the device, which has a template for the label to fit on, sticky side out. Close lid until it snaps shut. You then press down on top to make sure it is attached to the CD. Open top, take out CD and you have a perfect labeled CD disc. This is one of the best and easiest programs I have used. It worked well right from the get go. I would highly recommend this program to anyone who has a CD-RW drive on their computer.

You do not have to use only their labels, as they have a list of other manufactures whose labels their program is compatible with. If you start using one manufacturers labels, then change manufacturers you do not have to retype your information. The program will automatically adjust your work for you. In checking prices of various label manufacturers I found that Microvision prices were very competitive.

At their web site www.surething.com you can order this product and supplies. Their site also has a help section that is very informative and helpful. As I said previously in this review, I think this is a terrific program and well worth the $39.95 cost. It can be obtained only by direct order from the company or any of the large catalogue firms.
