TextDropper is a shareware application that can be downloaded from the website http://www.powerup.com.au/~marver. The download is for a thirty day trial and then you must license it for the outrageous sum of $10. After using it for thirty days, you will definitely want to register and keep it. It is a genuine time-saver!
With this little app's icon residing on the task bar, you can click and drop any often used text into any document. Create names and addresses and drop them into every letter you type, in any word processor. Set up a signature format and do the same. Tired of typing your name and e-mail address into website pages and applications? Keep them in TextDropper and drag them into the proper boxes on the webpage. You can type a form letter and keep that handy to drop into a letter in a click. If you use any repetitive text in correspondence, this application will save you a lot of typing.
I have used it continuously in all of the letters and e-mail that I send to vendors requesting review software and again in acknowledging receipt of the applications and sending copies of our newsletters with the reviews. I'm a slow typist and it has saved huge amounts of time.
The size of the program is less than 500KB and requires a 486 running Windows 95, 98 or NT.
