"A picture is worth a thousand words". It is an old saying but how appropriate in learning how to use a computer. Using a video tape as a learning tool is the fastest and most efficient method of learning how to use software applications. Step by step instructions are given verbally while the screen shows the actual movements of the mouse clicking on menus, buttons and commands, resulting in opening of dialog boxes and windows.
ViaGrafix produces video tapes covering almost every type of application, from basic Windows operating systems to advanced business programs, with training courses at all levels of experience. MS Office 97 Integration covers the use of the MS Office Suite of Word, Access, Excell, Powerpoint and Outlook, and you learn to integrate them by linking, transferring, copying and pasting data from one to the other.
I learned and retained more from this one tape than I have from reading dozens of magazines and books on Office 97. Included with the tape is a 3.5 disk containing files which are used in practicing on your own computer. After each chapter, the tape can be paused while you practice the actions and steps. If something is not clear or you get different results, simply back up the tape and watch the rerun. The video covers the basics in each of the apps, not all of the advanced bells and whistles available. These can be learned and used on your own or by getting the advanced video tapes which cover, in more detail, the individual programs.
MS Office Integration has been provided by ViaGrafix to be kept in our library and available for the use of the members.
