EZ Macros makes it easy to start programs, go to files, repeat commands, in fact, do anything that you would do with your mouse and keyboard. We all know how to access applications and files, right? Click on this, double click on that, use keyboard keys, sometimes five, six or more movements to get to where you’re going. Using EZ Macros, you can record every mouse movement and key stroke, assign a "Hotkey" to the sequence, and repeat the function at will.
You can record addresses, signatures for e-mail, even sentences that you use often in correspondence, and EZ Macros will type them into any word processor at the stroke of the Hotkey. It lists all of these keys so you can edit or delete the macros as needed, and keeps track of them so that you won’t assign the same hotkey to more than one macro. You can activate or disable the macros individually.
EZ Macro’s Wizard walks you through the process of setting up macros in simple, easy to follow instructions. An icon with a red center spot appears in the Task Bar when the program is started, the spot turns to green when you start recording a series of keystrokes or mouse movements, and when you stop the recording by pressing the Pause key, the spot turns red again.
Installing EZ Macros is a breeze, recording a sequence of keystrokes or mouse movements is simple, and launching a program or opening files with one Hotkey is pure pleasure. Anything that makes my life easier is welcome, and this little piece of software does this very well. JE Software website has information about EZ Macros and many more applications.
